Terms of Service

By downloading or using TiltCast ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. License

TiltCast grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App on macOS devices you own or control, subject to the plan you have purchased:

• Free — unlimited use of the free-tier feature set, no time limit.
• Pro (yearly) — full feature access for the duration of your active subscription.
• Lifetime — full feature access permanently, including all future scenes released while the product is actively maintained.

You may not sublicense, sell, resell, or distribute the App or your license.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Use the App to record content you do not have the right to capture or distribute.
• Circumvent license verification or share license credentials with third parties.
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable law.

3. Payments and Refunds

All payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are listed in USD and exclude any applicable taxes.

• Yearly subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You can cancel at any time from your account; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Lifetime purchases are a one-time charge and are non-refundable after 14 days from purchase date. Within 14 days, contact hello@tiltcast.app for a full refund.
• Free tier requires no payment.

4. Intellectual Property

All content generated using TiltCast — recordings, exports, and marketing films — belongs to you. TiltCast retains all rights to the App itself, its source code, branding, and 3D scene assets.

5. Availability and Updates

We aim to keep TiltCast running and up to date, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. Lifetime licence holders will receive reasonable advance notice before any significant feature removal.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it will meet your specific requirements.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TiltCast and its founders shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
